Joys of the palate!

Wherever you happen to be in Laion, there are dishes to suit every palate. With each bite and with every sip, the rich aromas and scents of the mountains, meadows and forests become unlocked. The cuisine of Laion is comprised of specialties from the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal Valley, bringing together the Tyrolean and Italian culinary traditions. In the painstakingly prepared dishes, the genuine quality and freshness of the locally sourced ingredients is emphasised, utilising pure, natural mountain water from the springs. There are four staple ingredients in most South Tyrolean recipes: apples, wine, milk and Tyrolean bacon (speck), adding particularly intense flavours to the individual dishes.
